2025 Draft Guide: Risers and Fallers

FantasyMover's 2025 fantasy football draft guide — players whose ADP, projections, and opportunity scores are climbing, and names quietly sliding.

Draft season is when FantasyMover earns its keep. Between June and late August, ADP moves more than at any other point of the year — and the players whose draft capital is shifting are the ones you want to either reach for or quietly fade. Here is our 2025 Fantasy Football Draft Guide built directly from our live trend and confidence scores.

Top draft risers

These are the players with the strongest combined ADP velocity, projection lift, and opportunity trend through the preseason cycle. They share one thing: every signal points the same direction, not just one noisy data source.

  • Breakout RB — Clear path to a 17-game workhorse role. ADP up 1.5 rounds in the last 30 days; confidence score moved from Moderate to High.
  • Second-year WR — Target share climbing in OTAs after a coaching change. Our projection model added 1.2 PPG vs. last season's baseline.
  • Veteran TE — New scheme, new QB, and a depth chart that suddenly looks thin behind him. Tier change, not a blip.

Top draft fallers

Fallers are where most managers leave value on the table — they hold the rope a week too long. The signal that matters before draft day isn't a single beat-writer tweet; it's weeks of declining opportunity scores combined with falling ADP across multiple platforms.

  • RB committee victim — Multiple beat reports confirm a true split. ADP is finally catching up to what our opportunity model has flagged since May.
  • Aging WR1 — Air yards trending down, route participation slipping in team reports. Confidence dropped a full tier in the last two weeks.
  • Streaming QB — Schedule-adjusted projection took a real hit after a divisional shuffle. Better as a late-round dart than a starter.

How to use this guide on draft day

Don't draft from a static list. Open the live Top 100 Movers board on draft night — every name in this article links straight through to its full player intelligence page, including the latest trend score, confidence band, and ADP-vs-projection delta.

Rule of thumb: when a riser's confidence score and ADP velocity are both green, you can safely reach a half-round. When a faller's confidence drops a tier and ADP confirms it, let someone else take the discount.
